Operations
When you first start playing you will be given one operation of your choice.
To make money you will need to deal with players running the other types of operation.
There are three different types of operation you can run.

Running a StillStills turn raw ingredients into booze and are possibly the easiest of all operations to run. When you first fire up your still you will be producing the lowest quality booze in low quantities. Edges will allow you to improve both. Booze is produced by the crate and stored at the still until moved. |

Rum-runningBooze in made in the stills and sold in speakeasies, getting it from one to the other are the trucks of the rum-runners. Rum-runners make a profit moving booze for others, but they can also buy booze cheaply and sell it for a profit. Trucks have a capacity and a speed. The capacity is the number of crates of booze the truck can take while its speed dictates how long it takes to get from one address to another. |

Running a speakeasySpeakeasies sell booze to the customer living in the City. Customers whose affluence level matches the quality of booze you are selling will be interested in your establishment. If several speakeasies are competing for the same customers then they will divide themselves based on the relative proximity, booze prices and quality of the establishments. Whenever a speakeasy changes something - quality, capacity, booze availability or prices - the customers in that speakeasy's grapevine will reassess their preferences. Speakeasy's location and booze prices are available to other operators through the Grapevine. |
